PLEASE NOTE: There are currently two different HP CD-Labeler versions available:
- The HP CD-Labeler I (CDR1000A)
- The HP CD-Labeler II (CDX7500E/A)
The different models ask for different supplies!! CD labels for the CD-Labeler I will not work with the CD-Labeler II and vice versa.
Please check what model you are operating before purchasing supplies.

I own the HP CD-Labeler II and ran out of labels. Where can I purchase additional ones?
You can either follow the "Buy Online" link on our website and comfortably purchase them at the HP Shopping Village (European & American ) or you can have a look into the Support page to learn about local HP contacts who can provide you with details and addresses of HP stocklists near you. Please make sure that you quote the right product numbers when purchasing supplies for the CD-Labeler.

I own the HP CD-Labeler and just bought labels. for it. The sheet has three labels on it, but the templates included with the software only shows two labels per page. What can I do?
Unfortunately, you purchased the wrong supplies for your Labeler. The HP CD-Labeler I uses sheets with a three label design. The HP CD-Labeler II uses CD-labels with only two labels per sheet. There are no templates available to solve this problem. You can always download the corresponding CD-Labeler Software (I or II) on this website. |

I am running Windows 2000™ and I am experiencing problems while trying to print out my designs. The print job seems to just "disappear." What´s wrong?
There is a simple fix to this problem. Please refer to the "Help" files within the HP CD-Labeler software. A section is dedicated to printing problems. Just a short description: Locate a file called CDFACE32.ini / CDLABEL2.ini. The files should be located in your WIN-folder. Open the files. By default the "QuickPrint" option is set to "Off". Have it switched to "On" and it is fixed. |

Why doesn't the HP CD-Labeler software support my scanner?
software V2.0 and lower do not feature a TWAIN support. The software that is available in our "Download" section is a new, highly modified version which will support most scanner types. |

How do I know if I installed the newest software?
To find out about the latest version that is available you just have to look into our download section. We always provide the most recent version as full version download. Same goes for the Macintosh version. |

Are there any PowerPoint templates available? Or any additional templates for different graphic programs?
No, there are no templates for the HP CD-Labeler Software available other than the ones included with the software. |

You did not necessarliy do something wrong. Download errors are very attributable to various reasons. If you have ongoing problems with the downloads please contact us about it and we will research the problem, so we can fix the problem and /or send you a file via e-mail or on CD-ROM. |

I have problems calibrating my printer. No matter what numbers I type into the calibration tool, I can not center the label precisely. What can I do? Are there any calibration figures available for my printer?
No, we do not specific calibration numbers for each printer. This would simply not be possible. It strongly depends on a wide range of personal installations; i.e. which tray you use to print the labels from, how precise your tray is adjusted …… sorry, but you have to keep on trying. |
